Very nice hotel infrastructure, directly located at the beach. Very good for surf vacation. The buffet in the morning was really nice and favoured Indian, Sri Lankan and Western food options which also was nice that you did not need to eat the same thing every day. Also the location of the hotel was pretty amazing. We had a Ocean View room and it was simply amazing, looking at the sea from the 8th floor every morning. Also the beds were super amazing and comfortable. Also the hotel is surrounded by a number of good restaurants.

Our room was amazing, on a high floor and overlooking Weligama beach. It was large, very clean and since it was our honeymoon the staff left a 'happy honeymoon' message in petals on the bed. They also left us a complimentary chocolate cake. The hotel was perfect to immerse ourselves on the beach for a couple of days. I also love that they use their space on the ground floor to show artwork for sale by local artists - it was the only hotel we stayed in that did this!

Breakfast was good. Dinner at the high end restaurant was very good For the dinner buffet, I had expected more Sri Lankan dishes rather than the usual hoppers and milk rice etc. I am sure there are a variety of local dishes. Was looking forward to such a buffet. The room was very nice. However, it would be good to make the room and hotel a little brighter as it was quite dim in many places...do not have to be too bright. In the room, where the safe was, I could not see as there was no light and when opening the cupboard door, it blocked it the light. Had to use my phone torch.

The room was fantastic and very clean. We enjoyed the view from the 8th floor and experiencing the sunset every evening was an amazing feeling. Breakfast was divine, the choices of dishes was spot on and we had a different cuisine each day. Sri Lankan hoppers and fish curry was my favorite. I want to take this opportunity to say massive thank you 2 staff. Nishadi Gunawardena who checked on us everyday to make sure we were happy. Honestly we were more than happy! Also Asanka the Bar manager near the lobby, he was exceptional in his service. we enjoyed going to the bar every evening cos of him before dinner.

We had a nice welcome upon checking in, and the instructions given by the front desk were very clear. We also had our own guest relations officer which was a nice touch. The breakfast buffet was pretty awesome, I loved the selection of curries to go with the Sri Lankan breakfast items, and they even had rice congee which was a first on our trip for us. The room was veryyy comfortable and the bed was perfectly firm. There was a slight problem with the blinds in the room when we checked in, but they got it fixed within 15 minutes. I used the gym in the morning and was pleasantly surprised to find barbells available which is great. The equipment is well kept and there is a good variety of machines available. The location of the hotel is perfect if you plan to do some surfing, it's easy to find a surf school just on weligama beach, steps away from the hotel. We used the spa on our last morning there and I had a good experience with the therapist and the booking of the spa session was also very seamless. Overall it was a great experience from all touch points, from the check in, to the in room service, restaurant, gym, spa, and also at check out. It's a five star hotel so of course it's going to be expensive, but worth the price if you want to have a relaxing holiday by the beach.

the hotel was exceptional! the room and all hotel facilities were extra clean and tidy. the staff was nice and helped me at any time with any request. My assistant at the Hotel Sanduni was beneficial and helped me a lot, it was conducive to having a personal assistant. the breakfast was extra diversified and everything was fresh and tasty. the hotel had a lot of activities such as a cocktail workshop, yoga, a game room, a pool, surfing lessons, and much more. The yoga class had a great yoga instructor too, I enjoyed having yoga training in the morning. The hotel was in a great spot in the city, next to a beautiful beach with a great view.

We loved our stay. The view was divine (we were on the 9th floor). The room was spacious. The bed was so comfortable. The service and the little details were incredible. We would definitely stay again.

Everything has been absolutely outstanding. The breakfast selection is exceptional, offering a wide variety of high-quality options that cater to all tastes. The dinner service has been equally impressive, with dishes that are not only beautifully presented but also delicious and thoughtfully prepared. As for the room, it is both spacious and impeccably maintained, providing a perfect balance of comfort and elegance. We would like to give special recognition to Supun Jayawardana for his outstanding attention to detail and professionalism, which significantly enhanced our experience. Additionally, we extend our sincere gratitude to all the staff, from the front-end team to housekeeping and dining staff, who have worked tirelessly to ensure every aspect of our stay was perfect. Swimming pools were great. The kids clubs activities were varied and the staff working there were incredible with kids. The buffet food options were delicious, offering lots of different types of cuisines. The pool bar food and drinks during the day were freshening and yummy and we honestly loved every day there. The rooms are amazing, light switches for everything, huge but practically designed bathrooms - it was very luxurious to be there. There were some staff members who made it extra special: B and Chandani in Kids Club, Rankin(?) older gentleman at the pool, Sanduni, Sandeep in the kitchen.
